do i need trend antivirus and webroot spy sweeper?

I just renewed my webroot subscription and now I am getting pop ups constantly from trend antivirus that I need to renew my subscription. I just bought this computer about a year ago and I guess this stuff was automatically loaded on my computer. should I renew the subscription to trend even know I have webroot?

Chosen Answer:

Webroot Spy sweeper and Trend Micro AntiVirus 2008 was probably installed when your computer was set up and both would expire in one year.

Did the new Webroot Spysweeper you downloaded include their antivirus which they now make available? If you have their new version which includes spysweeper and antivirus protection you will not need Trend Micro antivirus.

u should just not get neither of those products. they suck!!! instead i suggest that you get avira antivir along side threatfire. also download malwarebytes and superantispyware, which are just on demand scanners. they are not really time. avira and threatfire are.

Here are some freeware programs to protect your computer very well.
No need fo Webroot Spysweeper. or Trend Micro.
I would uninstall both programs with Revo Uninstaller

    Anti virus and firewall pro

    or

    Avira Antivir

Threatfire is an anti virus, that can be installed next to any other anti virus program on the same computer

This is a very good program, that completely runs in the background

    Anti Spyware
