Does WebRoot/Spy Sweeper use a disk or does it download from their site?

We used it before and now our subscription is expired and i can’t remember if it used a disk or not. Does it automatically download from their site once I purchase it or do they send me a disk?

Chosen Answer:

You can usually download it from their site. Sometimes you have the option of getting a disc.

  2. ComputerProblemHelper says:

If you repurchased it from their site, you can request a download easily because it is now stored on their site

    please follow these instructions:
    1.) Go to http://www.webroot.com
2.) Under existing customer, please click on Support
3.) On the right of the page will list Sales and Customer service; please select “Request Download”
4.) Select your product, and enter the necessary information and they will email you a link to download the most current version in a few minutes.

Or for easier, just click on the link as I’ve done those steps for you:

Next time, you should consider using Sunbelt’s Counterspy V2 because it is a much better program at protecting the computer from getting infected in the first place. It also removes malware infections much better, and it’s cheaper too $19.99. (I’ve used Spy Sweeper for about 3.5 years previously).
