ok so i brought web root anti virus and i threw away the cd sleeve with the key code on and i need it to activate the software.i threw away the receipt as well .is there another to register and activate the software

You can try Webroot Support. But I would guess that without the receipt you are out of luck. I would think that even with the receipt, you would probably not have much luck.

The problem is that anyone could call them and tell them they lost their Key, they have no way of knowing if it’s true. I’ve really never heard of any company replacing a key. If you bought it online and they sent you a key that would be different and you could get a new one.
