My son got comcast internet recently. We could not download mcfee antivirus that came with it.(Tried numerous times.) He bought Webroot spysweeper with antivirus and installed it. Ran scan and quarantined everything that came up, but the spyware is still there and keeps popping up. Also ran Ad-ware. Nothing seems to get rid of it. [...]

I have installed Webroot Spy Sweeper and Spybot Search&Destroy. They both load up on start-up and their icons open on the toolbar at the bottome right corner of the screen.
