i havent use norton but ive tried webroot antivirus. i was quite satisfied with it until i experienced lagging in my system. acer 4520. forums show that webroot is a resource hog. poor customer support is another minus factor. gone were the times when it was among the tops. however an av efficiency would depend o ones surfing habits and needs.
but if i were you id rather go for other av’s paid or unpaid which could give you better results. check out cnet for other antiviruses which might suit your needs. i for one dumped webroot a long time ago and id rather not try norton since im satisfied with my current av
